Clone

“Dr. Wayne, are you sure? “, Asked Steve, hoping to placate him.

They were scientists, who researched all possibilities of genetics.  Their experiments with the new combination of DNAs and RNAs always resulted in world wide appreciation.
“Dr. Steve, imaginations end up in great discoveries”, Wayne snorted.
Steve heaved a sigh. He glanced at the laboratory. The laboratory was a perfect example of their hard work, for thousands of Wayne’s clones were staring at their monitor and working. No one was allowed inside the laboratory except the Wayne(s) and the only one co-scientist, Dr. Steve.
“But Wayne, implanting the humanoids to a clone will create problems. You can’t even control their thoughts”, Steve was perplexed. Steve believed in Wayne’s experiments, but this was something far beyond, implanting emotions to a clone..!!.
“Dr. Steve, Do as I say you. “, Wayne grumbled but went on.
“Look, I will implant this small radio active chip in his hand, beneath the skin. After a certain amount of time as the element decays even the clone will decay too” Wayne tried to convince Steve.
“But before you implant this element into its skin, what if the clone has the same thoughts as yours? “, Steve persisted.
“That is where the risk exists, Dr. Steve. We should be so fast to implant the element in the clone, before giving him enough time to understand what is happening” Wayne heaved a sigh.
“The main problem is, when the clone have its own emotions we can’t think independently. Our thoughts will be similar. One of us have to die for an independent idea”, Wayne added.
Steve could feel the dreadful situation of Wayne. He was a great scientist who never wanted to give up his ideas.

“Dr. Wayne, I am nervous “, murmured Steve.
“Don’t worry Dr.Steve”, there were two answers from the lab. Even Steve couldn’t recognize who is the real Wayne. Both of them had the same character, same frequency of thinking.
Both of them had reached the top of the world by the successful completion of the project but still the surroundings of the lab nauseated Steve. The first human clone-with its-own-feelings was about to approach its last moment. The radio active substance was decaying moment by moment.
Few seconds passed by, the reaction was over and one Wayne was no more.
Steve heaved a sigh and glanced at Wayne with a sign of relief.
“Dr. Steve, I am sorry. While my master (Dr. Wayne) was about to implant the radio active element in my hands, I had the same idea in me, and before he could do anything I injected the same to my master’s hand.” Said Wayne, with tears in his eyes.

Glacier National Park: Day 1- Grinnell Glacier

Glaciers are formed by the repeated snowfalls in winter, and snow melts in summer. When snow accumulates by each passing snow fall, the snow becomes ice and heavy. This causes the mass of ice+snow to move around shaping and corroding the rocks. For this reason the mountains surrounding the glaciers will have very unique shapes, steep drop off points and can have sharp edges. Sad thing though, as temperature increases by global warming, the snow gets time to melt away and glaciers will slowly disappear. I read that, glacier national park had so many glaciers, which now dont even exist.

Glacier National park: Day 2- HighLine Trail

Our plans for the second day at glacier was to drive the 'Going to the sun road', and hike the HighLine trail. Going to the sun road is 50 mile very scenic drive through the mountains. It can be accessed from the east entrance at St Mary or the west entrance at West Glacier. We chose St mary, thinking we could watch the sunrise over St Mary lake when we start the day. The scenic road can be done by park's free shuttle system too. They are free and make stops at all attraction points along the route. Since we had to reach the other side of the mountain, we took our car.  The highest point on the route is Logan Pass which is home to two very beautiful and breathtaking trails, Hidden Lake trail and HighLine trail. The 12 mile HighLine trail is carved through the Garden Wall mountain ranges, you walk through a very narrow trail which is made right through the mountain. Though a lil scary this is a highlight of Glacier National Park. They also have a hand rail hung to the m

La La Land

This is one of the trips that I thought would be a fully urban feel and turned out not to be! La has its own fair share of everything;beaches, canyons, markets, gardens and the posh city life. We reached LA on the night of 26th April. We were staying near to the beaches, so it was a short drive from airport. Once we landed we grabbed dinner and shopped for water and snacks for the rest of the week. By around 10'o clock we were all set to hit the bed.
