Ryan was fed up.
Through the dim light of moon he saw the board hanging on the wall.
‘Psychotherapy centre’. It was too late to approach a person but he had no other way. He heaved a sigh and walked inside.
Ryan felt bad at his inability to lead a peaceful life with Jenny. No matter how he tried, but he could not adjust with her at all. Their concepts of love were different. Ryan wanted to keep her happy, but he never succeeded.
“Sit down Mr… “, the counselor paused while offering Ryan a seat.
“Ryan Peterson”, Ryan shoved a chair and sat down facing the counselor, Dr. Brad.
“So ?”, Brad pulled his eyebrows together and gazed at Ryan who was trying to wear a false smile on him.
Ryan tripped over words while talking to Brad. He could not explain how deep he was getting hurt while fighting with Jenny.
“Look Mr. Ryan, these things are common in every family. The little fights among you are the indicators of the existence of love between you “, Brad felt Ryan as so innocent and consoled him.

It was dawn.
Jenny was busy in cooking and Ryan was lying on the couch, with his eyes closed.
Ryan was feeling so relieved. He was no more fighting with Jenny. Jenny was feeling guilty too, and it was the beginning of their new phase of life.
The knock on the door woke him up.
He was shocked to see the cops at his door steps.
“Mr. Ryan Peterson? “ The inspector growled.
“Yeah, what is the matter? “, Ryan was totally perplexed and panicked.
“Sorry Mr. Ryan, you are under arrest”. Ryan stared at the cops.
“Whats going on?”, Jenny darted to the site, feeling nervous.
Inspector turned towards Ryan and told.
“Yesterday night there was a murder at city.”, Ryan stood there agape, still trying to connect things.
“What is it with me? “, Ryan was yelling, with irritation.
“You will understand it “the inspector chuckled and continued.
“The murderer is Mr. Brad, the psychotherapist; he killed his wife and left the city. Our reports say that you were the person who met him in late night. We need to question you “
